New Song Apr 1st 2011

Ah Yes!  Finally it is time to end the process of trying to make a composition in two weeks while staying good in school!  That's right.  This update is about the next new song, which is also the last until August 5th.  I'm going to spend the summer composing things so I will have pre-made songs to post while I'm in school.  Look forward to something new coming, or a continuation of the Guess that Nintendo Melody series this summer!  So I didn't have much time to post about the new song two weeks ago.  I'm going to rant about it now along with the song I posted today.

The last song was called "Commission to Relieve."  In light of all the tragedies going on in Japan, I decided to make this song.  I was moved the same day I posted it for when I went to Taco Bell, a customer told me about his plan to travel to Tokyo to search for people.  What made it so moving is that he has a disease that only allows him to live for 4 more months.  Talk about bravery and care for others while disregarding your own circumstances!  I almost asked him if I could go with him.  We should all find some way to help those families in Japan who have lost so much.

Alright, and now for this week's song.  "Next Time" is a song about transitions in life and saying farewell to those people who have been dear to you during that point of your life.  I'm referring to the typical experience of graduating for high school, college, etc.  I have many friends who will be graduating from college and moving on to start their own lives this May.  This song is like a farewell gift to them.  Hopefully its not the last time I will see them!
